I have a few queries about the Quebec immigration class, and would like to generally get everybody's review over it. The pros and the cons etc.

1. At the aforementioned link it says that stay in Canada for more than 3 months shall grant me 2 points.
What sort of stay does it mean? Simply visiting on a tourist visa for 3-4 months?
2. Should the work experience be relevant to your degree/qualification? And is it international or Canadian experience?
3. What section in Area of Training does a BE Mechatronics Engineering (non-Canadian) degree fall in? How many points do I get?
4. How hard is it to get a valid employment offer in Quebec? What categories of jobs are eligible and are there any recommended resources to look for any jobs?
Overall, why do people usually tend to avoid Quebec. From what I have learnt son far it's not French necessarily. Then what's the downside?
