My very best friend from Serbia has just been turned down for a visitor visa, despite all the information requested was clearly answered and shown/proven. Took less than 5 days for the refusal letter. What to do know?

Impossible to say without a lot more details about your friend's application and the specific reasons why the application was refused.

Family ties in Canada and in country of residence
Employment prospects in country of residence
Current employment situation
Personal assets and financial status
I am not satisfied that you have sufficient funds, including income or assets, to carry out your stated purpose in going to Canada or to maintain yourself while in Canada and to effect your departure.
no evidence of employment or income

These were all the reasons given to deny his application. He is 41yrs old, single and lives with his elderly mom and younger brother, he is responsible also for his dad and a younger sister. He holds a valid Mexican visa and he has been to Mexico twice with no trouble going back to Serbia in allotted time. He is self employed and travels extensively throughout Europe as proven by his passport stamps with again no problem. He would be staying with us for his entire trip so airfare, accommodation, transportation and food taken care of. I just don't see why he was denied and exactly what do they want! Any help would be very much appreciated

How long did he say he was planning to visit?

How do he make a living to support his elderly mom, dad, younger sister and brother? He should show some proofs that he is self employed.

It might also be a problem if the clients are Canadian or Canadian PR.

No they are all European clients, that is why he has so much travelling in Europe by the multitude of stamps from each country

Do they have a standard for how much money he should have access to when he comes to Canada, is it so much per week even though he will have his plane tickets bought by us, accommodation, food transportation are all from our home?

Is there anything else that can be done on his side or ours? I have told him to show everything that has his name on it that he is paying for and anyproperty and vehicles in his name or he is a Co owner of?

Also does anybody know how much supposed to have for money?

You can potentially do this type of job from anywhere including Canada. Self employment is typically a red flag unless you are major player and by this I mean say the head of a global type business where Canada thinks this guy might be wanting to invest big bucks in the Canadian economy. Visa post probably suspect he will just hang out in Canada (in your place) during the validity of his visas and work remotely. How much in USD is he spending on the trip compared to his monthly income?

He has saved up over $1400 Canadian, but all his airfare, accommodation, meals and transportation while here in Alberta would be supplied by us!
