Dear Bobby,
I am not blaming CIC for anything. If you look at my initial post again you'll see that I was merely unable to understand that if, as everyone claims, there is an absolute dearth of skilled manpower that it is causing waves in the Canadian parliament and business circles is in not basic logic to take steps to figure out a way to utilise the existing immigrant talent.
Lets be clear here, Canada needs us as much as we need them, else we would not be invited there in the first place. True, it is our responsibility to do our bit but it is also the responsibility of the government ( at least for its own sake) to do more than just stamp your passports with a visa. I refuse to believe that anyone who is making the big decision to leave their own country and their comfort zone would not have taken steps to prepare themselves.
Having said this, I would also like to say that I personally do not know what is the reality on the ground in Canada. I am basing my opinion on the information that I was able to gather from various different sources ( some may very well be misleading).
The reason why I am digging so much into this or being so concerned is not because I expect everything given to me on a platter but because I really 'CARE' and I am not so naive to leave everything to fate
.
My teacher used to say 'Dont Crib but Question everything with the intention to make a positive difference, nothing worthwhile in this world was ever achieved without people questioning the existing system,.
