hi everyone! im 18 and my partner is 21. he moved to the uk to better his education and plans to go back to Canada in 3 years, he has also decided he wants to take me with him. we are not married just in a relationship; i need advice on what the best route to go on as we have no idea what we are doing and google just isn't answering all my questions.
what is the easiest way to move to Canada from the UK?
what would we both need to do to get there?
is it easier inbound or outbound if its even an option for us?
and can someone re-assure me that if we start all of this i wont be told i cant go with him?

Assuming you don't want to get married (I wouldn't recommend it at 18, but to each their own), I would suggest looking into attending a college in Canada. For Express Entry, I'm not sure you would have enough points without a few years of skilled worked experience and a college degree to qualify for immigration as a Permanent Resident under FSW. If the target move date is 3 years away, there's not much you can do right now except get a college degree and/or work experience that will get you points under Express Entry. If you plan on applying solo you'll need $12,000+CAD (subject to change each year) to qualify, so you can start saving now.

No one can reassure you that you will be able to go with him because frankly, no one knows what the immigration rules will be a year from now, much less 3 years.

thank you i dont plan on getting married no but that has come up in conversation about making it easier to move, i am currently attending college doing brickwork and next year will be attending childcare level 3 diploma and last year worked full time at a factory and while at school had a part time job as a party organizer and co-manager. would this already count towards the points i need?

i was hoping by the time it came to moving out there i could go to work i dont really want to be studying for that long im afraid ill struggle if i did

Honestly (and others on the forum may disagree with me) I think it will be really difficult to you. As you gain more education and experience, your points will increase. You'll also have to take the IELTS which grades your English language skills (even some native English speakers struggle with this). The best thing you can do is go through this website (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/index.asp) and familiarize yourself with the process and requirements. Then set yourself up to get as many points as possible.

thank you, i hadnt looked at the education part of it just the common law partner part so t has put a new aspect on it
