Hi Nectar,

I have read in your other posts that you recommend doing extra tests for bp higher than 140/90. My husband was higher than this the DMP requested for additional ECG tests. Will this be enough? As I am worried that they will be requesting medical furtherance only now just like what happened to the other applicant who have been requested to go for other tests after submitting his medical results 7 months ago.

Should I send them an e-mail asking for the status of my application although I am using a representative?

Thanks.

Dear danjo,

Please go ahead and knock at the door- means send a case specific enquiry to CHC London.

Hi Nector,
It is clearly mention in canadian immigration instruction guide for applicant "refrain from making unncessary inquiries to the visa office regarding the status of your case" will facilitate processing of the case. So sending a case specific inquiry to CHC London will not disturb the processing of the case?

Dear all,

I have been asked to describe the immigration section/team at CHC London.

As per my knowledge, there are 18 full time employees for Red & White Teams (9 in each), 6 full time employees for Priority Team and indeed 1 First Secretary.

Client Service Unit has about 4-6 ft/pt employees who respond to enquiries and work as a bridge between immigration team (25 employees) and medical unit (5-7 employees). Moreover; each CSU employee has assigned a 3 character tag name for communications to and from the CHC London.

Additionally CHC London also recruit casual member of staff (Immigration Assistants) on contract basis. This type of recruitment contract usually starts from mid to late November each year. Each casual member of staff can work upto maximum of 125 days/year depending upon workload.

The CHC London is processing about 40-45 permanent residence applications per working day.

I hope this description is for assistance to you.

where did you get this information??

Dear Nectar,

The info you have given regarding the Section / Team is really good and helpful.

The Immigration manuals and even my AOR says that CHC London will process application in the order in which they are recvd. However unfortunately that does not seem to be true. I have seen many applicants who applied few weeks after me have already landed in Canada few months ago while those who applied 2-4 months after me are now at the PPR stage. However me and many like me still wait for PPRs. This clearly shows that CHC London does not follow a CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER.

Yes indeed there is a database on NOC but CHC process straight forward applications in a strict chronological order.
