Hi all,

My daughter was born in Canada two years ago.
Now that I'm applying for immigration, and filling out the express entry application, should I mention her as a dependent, or, since she is canadian she shouldn't be added to my application?

Thank you very much

You should add her to your application as a dependent since you need to financially support her and be sure to choose the correct citizenship for her.

Hi Dodge,
Thanks for your reply.
I had already filled out an application about a year ago, me being the main applicant and mentioning only my husband as a dependent.
Should I just simply edit the application to add my daughter or is there any consequences and more action to be taken for not mentioning her in the first place?

Thank you very much

I do not think there's any extra action that you need to do other than adding your daughter to the application.
