Dependent visa

Hi,
Can anyone just explain me about the dependent visa. Cuz the first time i applied for my visa it got rejected since I mentioned that my husband is accompanying me. But then the 2nd time we mentioned that he is not accompanying and the visa got approved. But the thing is since I’m a newly married I really wish i could go to Canada and experience the 2 year journey with him . So anyone could help me on this matter it will be a great help.

There is no such thing as a dependent visa. Are you talking about a spousal open work permit? What visa is your husband on? SOWP are never guaranteed.

Yes since im going to study i wanted to go together. Is there any specific reason to reject the SWOP?

So your study permit was rejected or his SOWP or both? Apply without him and come and study. Then later apply for his SOWP. SOWPs are never guaranteed as you need to show strong ties to your country & he is your tie to return home. Does both of you have strong ties - jobs, property etc

My visa got approved this time and im planning to come in December. But we didn’t mention that he is accompanying me in the family information form this time. But we didn’t apply for his SOWP in both the time. Since i got the visa is it okay if we apply for his SOWP?

So he isn’t coming with you when you come in December. You are coming alone. He can apply for a SOWP. Depending where you are from it will take months. He needs to show strong ties to your country.

Also confirming that you have an approved study permit (not just AIP) and your school is on the approved list to travel.
