My partner and I are in talks with an employer in Vancouver. Considering everything would go on well, we wanted to find out more details about work permits/visas to Canada.
Firstly, has anyone who has once lived in australia, applied for a visa without the Traffic History Check? We lived in Queensland for just over a year and in Victoria for a few months. Would like to know how strict they are about wanting the Traffic Check. We would be applying for the visa in India. Does the office you apply at play any part in the documents list?
Secondly, we would like to know if I could apply for a visa for my mom to stay with us while we are in canada. I lost my dad recently and have no siblings. So, don't want mom to be alone and would like to take her along. Would she qualify as a dependent? For how long could she get a visa? Any other information that I should know about?
