I submitted a paper application for my daughter's PR around early-March. Both me and my wife are PRs and had the baby in USA before we moved to Canada. So ended up bringing her here as a Temporary Visitor with us when we moved.
Through Canada post tracking I see it has been delivered mid-March. It's June 2 now (2.5 months) and I have received no acknowledgement or communication on my application. I tried to link the application online by entering all the relevant info but it says an application couldn't be found.
Does anyone have a recent experience of dependent sponsorship? Looking for some associated milestones and timeline? I saw it could take good 10-12 months for the PR to arrive but what should I expect now and when?
Additionally, the Temporary Visitor status expires in 6 months. Curious to know what needs to happen if I still hadn't received anything till then and the visitor status expires.
