If the husband have open work permit applied as depending from wife, and if seperated will the open work permit of husband get cancelled and they have to go back? If yes what is the timeline and how this works

If the husband have open work permit applied as depending from wife, and if seperated will the open work permit of husband get cancelled and they have to go back? If yes what is the timeline and how this works

Your husband will not be able to renew(extend) his status based on your status.
His current work permit will be considered valid.
