We've just arrived in Canada under PNP with a job offer. My husband has starred work and we currently have work permits until 2019.

If we were to apply and get PR now, once the law (hopefully) changes next year, would we then be able to sponsor our eldest daughter, (she's 20 and in her final year at university in the UK) under family sponsorship? Or would we be better to wait until the law changes and then apply with her on the application?

Thanks for any advice.

Unfortunately it's impossible for any of us to answer your question since we have no idea if and when the law will change - and if the law changes, what the rules will be (i.e. if it will be retroactive or not).
