Hello people,
Just wondering how much it takes to get PPR after getting everything checked green?. Waiting since last month

I received the Sponsor Eligibility approved email in the first week of June but after that everything is dead silence even with upfront medicals and everything. The medicals haven't been updated to Passed or Not Applicable. They say it is currently being reviewed. Background Check reads as Not Applicable. Application in Progress...

I was reading somewhere that they process the stuff in batches... Any idea about how long it takes from Sponsor Eligibility Approved to Final Decision?

PS: There is no concern with medicals. Panel physician remarked the baby as a healthy baby.

Have you got Back from them? Did you received PPr yet?

Application rejected(did not sign on behalf of my kids) – January 16th 2026

Sponsor Eligibility Completed - March 13th 2026

Background Check Started - March 16th 2026

Medical Request - July 27th&29th 2026

They are 9m old, so no biometrics needed, just wondering what the next steps are after they have their medicals done.

Hi everyone, I’m looking for advice from anyone with experience with a dependant of protected persons PR application in Quebec.

My timeline:

• Aug 2023: Parents made a refugee claim in Canada and included me as a dependent at age 20.
• Feb 2025: Parents’ refugee claim accepted; they became protected persons.
• Mar 26, 2025: CSQ application submitted to Quebec.
• Mar 27, 2025: PR application submitted to IRCC, with me included as a dependent outside Canada.
• Oct 3, 2025: IRCC requested IMM 5406 – Additional Family Information.
• Oct 8, 2025: IMM 5406 submitted.
• Jan 15, 2026: IRCC sent me a direct letter confirming my inclusion
• Jan 26, 2026: I submitted all requested documents.
• Jul 3, 2026: Received Biometric Instruction Letter (BIL) and Medical Examination Instructions.
• Jul 7, 2026: Biometrics completed
• Jul 9, 2026: Medical examination completed
• Jul 10, 2026: Medical results transmitted to IRCC.
• Now no update

Questions:

1. What should be the next step at this stage?
2. When can I realistically expect my CSQ, considering it was submitted on March 26, 2025?
3. After CSQ issuance, approximately how long does it usually take for PPR/final decision?
4. Does IRCC normally wait for the CSQ before finalizing the PR application?
5. Has anyone with a similar Quebec protected-person dependant application recently received their CSQ or PPR? If so, please share your timeline.

This isn’t a case of family sponsorship it is a PR application for the dependents of a protected person. Very different with very different timelines. You are likely looking a many years before getting PR. Your parents have not even received PR yet.
