I’m creating this thread for those submitting Dependent Child Sponsorship applications in 2026 to track timelines. Below is my timeline so far:

Jan 01, 2026 - Application Submitted

Obs: my child is 1 year old.

Outland application 14 years old and 22 years old.

14 years old - resubmitted on November 27.
No AOR yet.

22 years old - missing updated police clearance.

why you had to resubmit? Did you apply for both on November 27?
I mistakenly signed two forms with my 14 year old’s name. He’s a minor so it should have been my signature. Signed and sent back on Nov 27th. I am hoping all is in order.

I applied separately. The 14 year old was on Oct 15 and the 22 year old was on Nov 19 when I realized I could still sponsor him.

Got it. For the 22 year old applied on Nov 19, have you received an AOR already?

And for the initial application for the 14 year old, you applied on Oct 15 and when did you get the application back informing the wrong signature?

No AOR for both yet. Only information that I needed to update the police clearance for the 22 year old because it went past 6 months.

For both applications though I heard back informing me of my mistake on Nov 27th. Oddly enough for both applications even if I submitted them on separate dates.

Oh wow and oddly enough before the AOR. I am assuming they only send the AOR when all documents are ok.
