I'm filling in Generic Application Form for PR under Canadian Experience Class. I'm the principal applicant, my partner's been an international student since 2010. I gave birth to our son in 2013 and obviously he's a Canadian citizenship. So when filling in this form, it asks me to include myself and any family members, regardless of whether they intend to accompany me to Canada or not. I don't think i need to add my son in the application because he's a Canadian citizenship already so he doesn't need to apply to become a PR. Correct me if i'm wrong. Otherwise I just need to add 2 persons in the application including myself and my partner, is it correct?

LOL, never heard any thing of Anchor Baby. I've been on my study permit since 2007 and changed to work permit after graduation. Where it said people study or work here cannot give birth???

I'm glad you take this horrible comment so lightly, you are right, your baby must be mentioned only in the addiotional family information form .

Regards

Ignore the troll. You are correct. You'll need to mention your son in the "additional family information" form and include a copy of his birth certificate. Doesn't hurt to write a brief explanation, stating that you have not included your son in the application because he is a Canadian citizen.

When I'm filling the EE form I didn't added my son who is Canadian by birth. After rcvg., ITA it happen to ask me questions and I added him as accompanying and needs to pay fees for him too. So, I made him non-accompanying and it asked me reason and mentioned that he is Canadian by birth will accompany me for sure but PR not required and moved ahead. I still need to submit my ITA as waiting for Meds. Hope this helps.
