Dependent child accompanying international student

Hi there.
I am applying online for student visa as an international student; as such my husband is applying for an open work permit through my application. I intend to take my son with me (immature, 1yr. old), who already has a visitor visa valid for 5 years.
I am confused whether I should include him in my online application as I will be stay in Canada for more than 6 months and if so, which visa category applies to him?

Thanks for your help. Just to make it clear, since he already has the visitor visa received earlier, it is not necessary to included in the online application, is it?
