Dependent can work without primary working

I got W-1 canada work permit through my company, and I got my dependent husband open work permit.
but now my company is saying there are no requirement to send me. is there any way like my husband try to get job through his open work permit and I can travel with him?

He can work. You can't work for any other employer on your closed work permit.

You can go but cannot work for anyone else.

Your company could also contact CIC and cancel your work permit especially since you haven’t moved to Canada.
