you should see if you fit 1111 or 0111

i am passing a secret alien message.

you have started your weekend already :). I still have two hours to go and then have to TA for 8 hours tomorrow :(

Yeah Man, we are almost 5 Hours ahead of you guys (UK). poor you!!

I am confused...the form asks for the NOC code which is what I have indicated...
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/imm0008_3e.pdf
it is on page 2

Should I send the forms back in with a letter and a print out of both the NOC and Ministerial list?????

If you are sure you applied under the right NOC, your job duties match and your NOC is on the list, write them a letter and ask them to explain it to you why you are being denied. Yes, make copies of your application where you wrote your NOC and the list and highlite them both.

Winky, you were rejected because the NOC code you used "1114" is NOT on the 38 list. Immigration does not do applicants the favor of guessing them into one of the 38 if they didn't use the "magic codes".

Use 0111, revise your job duties if necessary and refile.

rupesh and other sr folks

in schedule 3 -'Your work exp' section should i only mention the NOC code as per ministerial list?
Like i have NOC 0213 (which is in list of 38) for last 7 years
But i have put other past experiences (noc 2173 - which is not part of 38).

Is this ok? I think i have shown 7 years of experience in 0213 which should suffice.

URGENT pls, iam planning to send the forms tomorrow.

ADA,

You should show ALL your experiences, even if some are not on the list. Otherwise you'll have gaps in your timeline and that is not good.

I did so for last 10 years as required by form

thanks folks....

One curious thing.. if any of you have noticed..

The Schedul 1 - Familiy Background -
12. Membership or association section form instruction says if you are associated to nothing write "NONE"

The GUIDE IMM EG7000 says
If you were not a member of an association or organization, do not write “not applicable”. Rather, write: “I have never been a member of an organization or association”.

Funny how these forms are not so simple to fill. Since you cannot possible fill the form with the above sentence, unless you fill it by handwriting.

Phew!!

Ada, That's fine.In my opinion, That's actually what the CIC requires and needs. If not, why do you have the page2 of the IMM008, with such a long list?
