has someone here encountered someone who redid their medical and got denied? We did our medical last feb and we still didnt receive any news from cem

It takes about 6 weeks for your medical to be registered.
It will show up on ECAS any time now

Usually they wont ask u to redo a medical if they plan to deny you.
but regardless we redid our medical and it took about 4 weeks to have it show up on ecase. which was faster than usual.

so I agree it should pop up any time now

Why does it take so long to show up in ecas?

The remed request has all the info and the panel physician sends it directly to cem?
Also the remed request only has a couple checkboxes....OK and not ok and then 3 lines for comments.

Maybe by postal service it takes that long, but my wife is going to ask if we can pay extra for express courier.

But still shouldn't take that long as it doesn't have to go through london.

To the OP maybe the scar on your lung from TB has something to do with it taking longer? I am not sure of the timeline for it but I have heard it takes 6 weeks or more in some cases.

I have heard cases where the applicant was requested to redo the meds and still refused. I assume that an interview was held after the request, and the decision was made based on the events of the interview though.

Phone your doctor and ask if they sent the medical to the Embassy. Which place did you go to? Was it emedical enabled?

This is the email extension for the CEM medical department ;D ;D ;D

manil.mc-extmed@international.gc.ca

Email them and ask if they received your medical. Include your file number in the email.

my husband did his medical on February 05 and on February 28 we got th epassport request from the embassy ,
