Hello,

I received my passport today with a letter explaining why it was denied, I did not show intent to leave Canada after I graduate.

Now, I'm reapplying, this time with a personal latter explaining my intent and goal, which is studying only, and to leave Canada after I'm done with it. I hope this will change the officer's mind and shows him my intention.

My question is: is there anything else I can provide that would boost my chances of getting the study permit? anything else that will show him that I intend to leave after i'm done?

Urgent, because I'm running out of time, and school starts on sept 4th.

Thank you.

I'm a 24 years old male from saudi arabia.

I was studying in the USA for my bachelor degree, however, i did not manage to complete the program, thus making my i-20 (american version of study permit) get canceled.

My mistake was not leaving immediately, instead I was there for almost 2 more years trying to fix my situation with my scholarship and my school.

My father passed away 4 months ago so i had to come back. I wanted a fresh new start in Canada.

My intent and only goal is purely academical, to obtain a bachelor degree from Canada, and come back home after graduating to help out my family with something solid.

I will include those things to show my home ties, anything else in mind?

The study permit cancelation and overstay can cause a lot of problem , cover up these things in the SOP with strong evidence and hope for the best..

just created problems for your own......explain everything very clearly in SOP and if you can provide some proofs, those might help......prooofs like why you didn't leave US and proof for overstaying.....

With your travel history, the VO will be very reluctant to issue you the visa. I advise to order your caips notes and see what exactly was VO thinking regarding your case.
