Is it possible to be denied (besides based on something obvious like a forged marriage document or something) without them interviewing you first? Or will they always do an interview if they are suspicious and then deny someone?

We got denied without an interview but it was an inland application.

yes it is for fraud u can as the interview is generally about how genuine is the relationship not are these documents real they would probably deny you and quote misrepresentation or fraud as the reason

Why did they deny you in the first place, komar? That's strange. I mean for something obvious I can understand denial without interview, but if everything is real and legit and they are just suspicious of the genuineness then they wouldn't just deny without interview right?

For the last couple days I'm just having immigration horror stories going through my head all day.. What if this, that... lalalalalalalalala

I guess they just didnt like us the first time round :P

We applied, the application got transferred to the local office, two weeks later we got the rejection letter. No interview, no request for information, nothing. The reason given: They dont believe we are in a genuine relationship. My foot!

Being the stubborn ppl that we are, we applied again, the application took a little longer than others but we got AIP and then landed a couple of months later. Again NO interview!

If you fail once, try try again ;D
