Hi,

My wife recently got her DM and just waiting for her passport now. As a result I need to book her a ticket and shell be coming over in mid-august. Need a flight from delhi to toronto. What is the best flight/airline to take. While still taking into account the overall price. Since my wife is coming alone I would like a somehwat hassel free environemtn for her, not too many stops or layovers. Any help would be appreciated.

JET AIRWAYS DELHI-TORONTO NON-STOP FLIGHT

I'm not seeing any direct flights. Here is the New Delhi airport website...they show all the international departures and destinations.

Air India offers direct flight to Toronto every day

Air India offers non-stop Delhi-Toronto flights (found that when I was checking for flights earlier this year).

Unfortunatley all flights from delhi-toronto and vice versa are cancelled and have been for last several months.

Oh you're right - it seems not to exist anymore. The next best alternative seems to be KLM (Delhi-Amsterdam-Toronto) or Etihad (Delhi-Abu Dhabi-Toronto). Good luck with your search.

I travelled KLM in Dec/Jan, cheaper flights but not very comfortable. Especially if travelling alone with long stop overs (mine was 8 hrs).

Cathay Pacific is excellent via Hong Kong.

Dnt even think of AIR INDIA as of now...you never know when they are on strike...

Jet airways is perfect, Food/Service and the flight itself is amazing.

One stop at brussels and that to for 2hr and 40 mins.

the best flight usually from India to Canada and vice verca...

CHEERS..

Yeah, I booked the Jet Airways Delhi-Brussels-Toronto flight. It seemed to be the best one as far as being typically modest in $ and has a good track record. Also total flight time with stop over is about 20hrs which is one of the fastest while comparing to all other flights. On a bad not since Air India has cancelled there flights onm the other airline carriers have jacked up there prices. A typical one way ticket from delhi to toronto costs around $1400-$1700 on economy. While 6 months ago this same ticket would have been around $700-$800
