DELF B1 Any Good?

Hi Everyone,

My company, based in KSA, is sponsoring French language courses that eventually lead to test DELF B1. I think you've already guessed my question: can I use my B1 score for immigration purposes? Two points are worth mentioning:

1- I have a high score in IELTS: 8.5.
2- I am taking the B1 anyway as it is requested by my employer.

The official exam recognized for immigration is TEF and TCF for French.
DELF certificates will not be considered.

I read somewhere it could get me some points in some provinces...etc. Maybe it is just not true.
