Delays at borders with PR CARD

Hey CV famIly. Question, I've flown out and back and driven out the country and back and everytime I return I get sent to secondary/immigration and they don't seem to know why. I also get through, I have no criminal record but something keeps triggering them to hold me for more questioning, any clue what that could be? I got my PR Sept 2017.. never had problems entering Canada before that.. don't have problems anywhere else

Any suggestions would help, thanks!

When they question you, is it specifically about one thing? Such as someplace you've traveled, or maybe about your PR?

If they question me it's probably about the PR. Never about anywhere I've travelled before. They are always clueless as to why im sent to secondary but yet it happens everytime since the PR. Eventually it ends with them telling me to go because they can't find any reasons or issues. It's really annoying.

In case you are eligible (I.e. 3 x years residence status basis PR or TFW or Work Permit etc) you should apply for NEXUS.

That way the background conducted should either reveal or remove any entries whatsoever.

I'm wondering if maybe someone has a similar name who is on a flagged list. That happened to a friend of mine a few years ago while flying from Chicago to Edmonton. The only previous travel she had was to Britain about 6 months prior, but her name was similar to someone else who was flagged.

OP’s problem is Immigration related and not Air travel related as he is stopped by CBSA and not by the authorities in charge for No-Fly Lists and similar. Therefore I would think following the path for PPIO

Might be the wrong way and he should sort it out with CBSA/CIC by applying for NEXUS status.
