Delay of passport

I applied for a visa and I was told my visa tracking number 2018...............is being processed at the Canada visa office Dakar from July up till now anytime I check my tracking number it always telling me my application is being processed at the Canada visa office Dakar till now please I'm confused I need my passport for another thing help me out please

I applied for attending a bridal show the one they sent a visitation for whoever is interested and was told that the show will start September 7,8and 9 2 but up till now anything I check my tracking number it still telli
