Delay in visit visa due to corona virus..

Are there any delays or rejection in the visit visa due to coronavirus for people applying from the south Asian countries?
 
There are delays because of reduced VO staff, so things are taking a bit longer. No rejections because of the virus.

I haven't received my Biometrics Inivitation letter yet. I applied on 5th February 2020 and until now there is no response from IRCC. Is this the same reason in my case as well? I have also submitted two webform specific enquiry but haven't heard back from them yet.
