Delay in study permit visa

I have applied on 25th feb and it has been 3 weeks 2 days. I got an update on 4th march for Medical and until now no update. Is it normal or should i take some step? Is it getting delayed because of Covid-19 ?

I have applied on 11th march for may 2020, on 16th my biometric got updated after that no updates. I am really worried, will this coronavirus effect the decision. I have IELTS 7.0 with no less than 6, got GIC and other documents.

yes its because of covid-19 and have not seen Canadian Government has closed its border for uncertain time, and here in Ontario there is a state of emergency.
