Delay in receiving PR card

Hi,

I became a canadian permanent resident on may 2011 last week, but still i didnt get my PR card. I am going to india this friday(July 1st).

I am kinda worried whether i ll be allowed to board without my PR card. I have the PR confirmation paper which i have got during my landing.

Please advise. I dont have much time left...

Nothing stopping you from leaving, it is the coming back that will be the problem. The processing time for PR cards is 42 business days. So if it arrives at your address in Canada, it can be couriered to you in India. Or you can apply for a Travel Document from ND to return to Canada.
 
Hello!

We have same situation as posted above but landed on 13May 2011 and want to travel back to our country on 12 july 2011. As per our info we can stay out of canada for maximum of 3years out of five years. Suppose we have left and PR card was not processed due to photo or signature issue. We have intention to come back after almost 2 years.

Please advice, how can we keep continue process of PR card and what will be required to come in canada without PR card. We have only CONFIRMATION OF PERMANENT RESIDENT FORM IMM5292.

How to manage PR card process, if they rejected photos or some other issues. How to keep continue PR card process?
