Delay in processing time

Hi,

I have applied for January 2021 session and my class will start on 6th January. I submitted my application on 18th November and completed biometric on 21st December. At this point, this is quite obvious that my visa can not be processed for the January session due to time crunch. I am very curious to know what will happen now? Will my application get rejected because of this or they will process my application for the next session? If so then when can I expect to get an update? My university offer letter says If a student is not registered for classes by January 6, their admission will be deferred until May 3, 2021.

Considering you applied on 18th Nov, was your eligibility review started before giving bio or there was no progress at all?

Was it a SDS or Non-SDS ? My suggestion would be to review options of having it deferred as it seems very unlikely to have any news in a weeks time especially considering there has been zero progress on you file and also most of this & coming week will be holidays for IRCC staff.

Mail ur college and explain ur situation and ask for online studies,and pls confirm what will be deducted from your fees before opting online.Many colleges are allowing online studies if ur waiting for visa just show them ur gckey application status ss.
