Hi All

I am landed on 24.June.2011 and applied for PR Card on 6.July.2011 (I gave permanent address to Immigration Center). Until today (20.Oct.2011- More than 3 months) I have not received my PR Card. I called the Immigration Hotline and visited immigration office several times from 3 months ago and they told me every time that I should wait 1-2 weeks more. They tell that my PR Card is "in process" and not issued and not mailed yet. Last time (one month ago) the operator placed a message on my file in their system that I must wait till 22.Oct.2011 for a reply!

1- Do you think why me PR card has been delayed too much? (Any probable reason?)

2- Why they told me I must wait about one month for new information?

Shall i be worry about my PR Card?

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Aref

If you don't have any travel plans outside Canada, why worry about when you will receive the PR card?

Yes, I too agree with steaky.
You have already a copy of your COPR which is the proof that you are a landed Immigrant. If any identity is required within Canada, your passport and the COPR copy is enough. However, as you have worried about the delay you did contact CIC and called CIC. You need to wait according to their answer. If there is any problem for your photos, they should have told you already.

This is too long according to the 6-8 week guideline provided from landing for a PR card

Don't depend absolutely on the guide lines. Understood form the postings in the forum that there are lot of people waiting for PR cards, already over two months.

your client ID number, Full name, address and some questions like yor date of entry to canada, your valid permit issue date or expiry dates and so. Thet call it some security questions to access your file.
