delay in hearing regd my application - pls help

i had recd a letter from the canadian immig advsing me to submit any additional paperwork , i.e ielts , police clearance etc .. this was in july last year . within a month a submitted my papers and am yet to hear from them regd an interview / medical . what should i do?

I first applied in july 05 .

i am living in Bahrain and I applied for Canada immigration in jan 2006 when I was living in DXB, now I need my police clearance from DXB. can you tell me where is the DXB police HQ?

I have also applied from Dubai in Jan 2006, thru wwics, Now I have got the final papers letetrs from CHC London, and I have to take extension due to long time taken by Bahrain and now Dubai Police verification process. Can you tell me how many days Dubai Police takes to issue the certificate. I am travelllling to DXB personally to get this done.
