Delay in decion making for PR

Hi I have applied for my PR under family class sponsorship from India on Sep 2018 mean while Iam in a visitor visa to Canada . It has been around 6 months and there is progress in baground check or eligibility review in PR Should I return back to India immediately for the process to be completed someone please please clarify !!!

Did you apply inland?

The process for your PR has a goal of completing 80% in 12 months. You potentially have a while to go before you get a result. If you wish to stay, you can apply for an extension of your visa. Be aware, if you applied Outland and they schedule an interview, it will be held in India.

I applied from India but my 6 month period of stay on my visitor visa is not completed yet

If you want to stay, apply for an extension about 2-4 weeks before your current visa expires.
