Hi Guys,

I received ITA in the last draw and I already had WES report for my last master degree. Currently I am in MBA program and will be awarded by the end of May this year. I probably will submit my application around June then my question is whether I need another degree evaluation for my MBA program? Since CIC website mentioned applicants need to provide degree evaluation for all level of educations but obviously there is no time for me to grab the certificate for my MBA program before I submit the application.

Any advice and really appreciate that.

Is your MBA from Canada? If yes, you dont need ECA.

If you have 2 masters, it will give you the same points as 1 masters so I am not sure if you really need to spend extra money to get ECA for your masters degree.

No. You must mention that masters in the personal history section but you do not need an assessment of such degree as you're not claiming points for it nor does it affect your eligibility whether you include it or not.

No that is U.S. MBA program. That is why I wonder whether I need the assessment.

Thanks a lot for the advice. A quick question. Do you think it could be better or necessary if I put a explanation letter to express why I don't claim points using my MBA degree?

Not at all, it will be quite clear to the officer that you are already claiming points for another masters degree so the one that you will finish in May doesn't really add up any value to your application.

Up to you though, if you want to write a small paragraph explaining your situation feel free to do so.
