My college starts in September 8. So, i decided to defer because even if i get AIP before my class starts, i would defer because of PGWP rules changes and 50% rule.
It won't have any impact if IRCC comes to know you received your LOA before getting an AIP. However, during their recent webinar IRCC said that if you are deferring then you should send them your new LOA as soon as you get it.
If your course is 2 years then you can do online class this fall. As, 50% rule you can do online class from home country upto September 2021. So i think you’re safe for it. But for 1 year students it’s really difficult what to do at the moment....
