Hello everyone, I submitted my husbands sponsorship application to the New Delhi office in April 2015, in June I was told the file has been sent to Delhi and medical records received. It also says decision made. When do they plan to tell me the result of the decision??? Is my file just sitting in line on a desk? When I looked at the table it said the next step after decision made is complete, so i'm close right??? Anyone else been in the same position?

I sent the application for my wife back in May 2014. I got approval in July 2014 that it has been sent to New Delhi. Since then my application is changed to Decision Made and I haven't heard back from them. They don't respond my emails and I try to call them but they don't help at all.

They are bunch of losers!!!!

I have a feeling that the decision made is for sponsor and not the applicant. Who's client ID that you choose when you check e-cas?
When I checked my husband ( sponsor) e-cas, it said decision made when he got his sponsor approval...my e-cas showed application received when they sent my application to singapore visa office. Then decision made when they send me an e-mail to request for my passport.
Maybe New Delhi is different? I'm not sure.

Is decision made shown in sponsorship status or permanent residence status?

oh it was on the sponsorship side (me). Yikes, I guess I got it wrong then, on the PR side it says application received and medical records received. I guess I better sit tight and wait. I can't believe the wait it so long. They should respond back to emails especially when the time goes over the processing times listed on the website! Lets hope they wake up and our loved ones come fast!

Actually I was looking on the website and under the section of PR application status there is a table that explains your status. It has four steps and I along with many of you am under the decision made section which is step 3 of 4. It says medical records received under the decision made column. Confusing but I think showing decision made on the sponsorship side is a good sign. But the question still remains, how long will it take for them to request the passport!

Processing time for New Delhi currently is 17 month. That is counted from the file got transferred to New Delhi which in your case is in June ( from what you told earlier). So now it's only 3 months..what is the timeline now in New Delhi's spread sheet? My VO is Singapore, even though it said on the website the processing time is 27 months, I got mine done in 6 months. So maybe soon you will get some news from NDVO since NDVO processing time is way shorter than SVO. My e-cas said app received and medical record received for 5 months then right after that it change very quickly. So hang in there..i'm sure you'll get your soon!

Thank you Mazleen for your very encouraging and hopeful message :) I realize the processing times are very general, they take into account the files that are missing documents, but they should put in timelines for files that are in tact because they get done much sooner. I'm sure you must have been very down when you read it was going to take 27 months! and your loved one came in 6 months, how wonderful!! All the best!
