Hi Seniors,

Due to couple of mistakes I have made in my express entry. Wrong NOC code in one of my employment. I don't want to take ay chance, so thinking I should decline this ITA request.

My plan is to decline ITA. Change the NOC and Designation in my express entry profile to correct one. Make sure the information in express entry is correct, and den wait for the next invite.

I am assuming that I will get invite in Next round. I am bit nervous about it. Should I be careful about anything before I decline?

Regards
Gaurav

To just change the NOC one doesn't need to decline the ITA. If you have the right reference letters that correspond to the right NOC then you can go ahead with this very (ITA) application.

This is unless by changing the NOC your CRS Score declines lower than the cutoff for that draw.

Why can't you change the NOC in this application?

I think that's where I am confused. My assumption was that if my information that I used in EE won't match what I will file in Permanent Residency application, I will be declined. I guess u suggesting that's wrong?

You can always change the details (except of course some mandatory ones like your identity related that cannot be changed) of your EE profile as long as it does not change your CRS Score lower than the cutoff for that draw.

Thanks Mate. Wondering if you actually have experience with changing the information in Permanent Residency to what it was in EE Profile?

Be specific with what you are trying to do here. Are you changing both your Primary NOC and the NOC for a particular work experience? Or just for 1 employment? And does that have any effect on your CRS and/or program eligibility points?

Not sure if this counts, but I started my EE profile with a primary NOC then later changed it to another. When I got my ITA, the pre-filled eAPR had entirely reverted to the original NOC. I proceeded to change it for submission anyway.

can anyone help me?

i need to withdraw my submission which i already did on Feb 2nd.. but i have to withdraw and enter the pool again with a new profile.. HOW DO I WITHDRAW THE SUBMISSION??

there is no option to withdraw in MYCIC..
if i do Case Specific enquiry, it may take upto 5 weeks and till then there will be 2 or 3 draws already out which i dont want to miss...
please help me..

Hi Asivad,
Thanks for replying.

I won't change my primary NOC.

I might have to change NOC for one work history item. Actually, the roles and responsibility are so close that I don't have to change NOC. But changing Title is what I have to do.
This work history item is only 1 year 10 months, out of my 8+ year of work experience.

Regards
G

HI Mate

thanks for ur reply. I think our cases are different. You changed to Permanent Residence application to make it same to EE, where as I am planning to make a change against it.

As for your reply to Asivad Anac, I think what you intend to do is of little consequence, if only for a work history NOC and not the primary NOC.

Yes bella I only want to do it for one Work Item. Do u think I need to decline my ITA to do this small change?

I don't think so, especially if it's not even the same as your primary NOC.

bellaluna is right. You don't have to decline the ITA, just make this change in your post ITA application.
