Decline ITA because EE profile is not submitted..it was updated-need urgent help

Hi experts,

Need your help again. just received ITA today. But there is a problem. I was changing some of my information of my EE profile yesterday and before submitting my profile I saw that I got ITA. So, I could not submit my profile and in my profile row 'Details' box of my CIC account shows 'update not submitted' and in the 'view submitting profile' status shows 'update' not transmitted.

In this situation, what to do? should I continue the application or decline and wait for next draw after submitting the profile application?

My score is 979.

It depends. What were the changes you were trying to make?
If it does not make you drop below the CRS cut off for the draw you received ITA, and it will not be misrepresentation, you can go ahead.
Especially if it's something that can be explained by LOE/supporting documents

No harm in continuing as your score is high enough to get ITA even if it gets automatically rejected.

In any case you have to update your form.

thanks for your quick response. I have new passport as my previous passport is near to be expired. So, I updated that one .Also my sister is in Toronto and she got her PR card few days back and I updated but could not submitted as before that I got ITA. I could not understand what to do...

Just enter your new pass port info in the application.
The ee profile and application don't gave to match exactly as long as your name and the number of dependent are the same and your points are higher than the cars cut off for that draw.

The profile information is locked. I updated all information but could not submitted...so how can I do that?
