Hi,
I hope someone can help me.
I have been with my boyfriend over 4 years. We have been living apart for one year as he work in Saskatchewan.I am hoping to move over in the summer and applied for my open work permit last week. I have now been asked for additional documents which includes a statutory declaration of common law union. The problem is that myself and my boyfriend will not be in the same country till the summer and so can not declare our union in front of a lawyer together. What should I do? Please help

IMHO you are going to have problems with the C/law application with the one year break in living together.
