Declaration Form - Help?

Hey I hear we need to fill a declaration form upon landing.

1 - I have 10k CAD in Scotia Bank GIC and 4k CAD in Travel card, do I have to declare that I am carrying more than 10k cad then?

2 - I am carrying Masalas to Canada, where do I declare this?

1. Anything in GIC you dont need to declare as it is already declared when you sent that.
2. Dry masalas are OK. Beware of bringing prohibited items without declaration as you will end up wasting your time in customs and paying fines.

2. Can you please tell me what are the restricted goods and can you also please tell me how do I declare masala under what items would I write it under?

1. Yes, they only ask you about Cash in pocket or your travel cheques (which is equivalent to cash too). GIC funds are already reported when they are transferred over through.
