After roughly 6 week of waiting. I still didn't receive the letter yet. So I called IRB today to find out, they told no decision made and gave me the officer name and number.
Is it wise, to call the officer or just wait?
My friends suggest not too. What do you guys suggest?

It can take up to 3 months, calling them will not change anything. So sit back and wait it is beyond your control.

I want to study further, instead of being at home doing nothing. But for studies, money is needed for tuition fee.

You can't qualify for OSAP until you have Protected Person Status and can produce a Protected Person Status Document.

I received my notice of decision today after 100 days and it’s positive so best of luck guys
