Hello !!!

I just check on my status on CIC and they updated "Decision Made".

It seems like Paris VO has decided something !!!!

Is it a good sign ?

I'm so wondering......

If your time line followed typical progression: you got SA after 2 months or so, and received AOR2 fairly quickly after that, and now it's a at least a few months after AOR2, etc.

Very good chance it means the case is completed and you will get PPR (or COPR if you have visa-exempt passport) soon.

Congratulations.

WOW!!! Congrats!!! :o ;D

Oh my God !!!

Thank you !!!

I just hope that DM means really it's approved ! I hope it's not a refusal decision made !

I'm so stressed !!!!

no additional doc request? no interview?

if the answer is no to both, then i'd be 99% sure it's an approval.

Actually, they requested my 10 years of travel outside of France 3 weeks ago. I sent it.

Medical received, no interview requested for now...

Payment received.

So I really hope it's a good news !!!

that's not a big deal. i'm still 99% sure it's an approval. congrats. :)

btw your interview has been waived, so you don't need to worry about that either.

Thank you to make me feel in a positiv mood !!!!

By the way, how long will it take now to receive the package at home ?

I'm French, so no visa required, and my VO is in Paris (I live in Vancouver).

I can't wait to make my landing !!!!

Thanks for your replies !

an application can't be refused unless multiple requests have been ignored or there was an interview called. so if you have decision made, expect your copr. how long it takes depends how long the mail takes to deliver it from your visa office. it comes in regular mail.

You need to wait for Passport Request :)

After this, they will send you your CoPR in the mail.

Do I need it as French citizen ? Am I exempt of visa ?

if the person is visa exempt, there is a chance PPR was waived. this is very common when the passport copy submitted with the application is valid for more than 6mo. and it is unlikely the applicant would change their name (ie: male). as the person stated, they are visa exempt and therefore PPR was probably waived. if they have DM, that usually means the COPR was mailed.

yes i believe so. when you travel to canada, do you only need to present your passport to enter? if so, this means you're visa exempt and most likely had PPR waived.

Yes, I'm visa exempt as a French when I travel to Canada.

So, if I understand well, Paris should have sent already my CoPR by mail.
Knowing that a regular mail from France to Canada takes about 1 week, I should receive it soon, I guess...

Then I will be able to do my landing !

would give it more like 2 weeks. canada post is sloooooooow but yes, DM for visa exempt applicants generally means it's in the mail.
