Hi guys! What does this mean? I am waiting for SA.

"We sent you correspondence on June 25, 2015 about the decision on your application."

Congrats! 9/10 times that means an approval. But in short it legitimately means they made a decision on your application (SA in this case). They will send you an e-mail or a letter in the mail depending on what option you chose to be contacted by. :)

"The decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning the decision."

Mine is different. Do you think my sponsorship is approved? Im so confused :(

As long as you don't have any serious criminal convictions, under 18 or have received welfare I'm sure you've gotten SA. I've seen others post the same wording of the message and it was positive. :) All in all it means that they've sent you a message! Fingers crossed.

The phrasing depends on which "part" of ECAS has the DM. For the Sponsorship Application, my sponsor's ECAS says:
We sent you correspondence on January 20, 2015 about the decision on your application.
Whereas for the PR application itself, ECAS says for my sponsor:
A decision has been made on [My Name]'s application. The office will contact [My Name] concerning this decision.
... and for myself as the applicant (which doesn't show SA):
A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.
The notices I quoted are all in ECAS. My sponsor received the approval e-mail on January 20, the date listed in "we sent you correspondence." I have not yet received anything regarding the application's DM, but if all has gone well that would be the COPR itself -- it would arrive in ordinary postal mail.

The Sponsorship Approval e-mail was a generic letter saying:
Please find attached a letter related to your application to sponsor under the family class. Please fully read the attachment. This letter will not be re-issued. Please save this message for your records.
... with a .pdf attachment containing the actual approval, including information about which visa office would process the application (CPC-Ottawa, in my case) and instructions for applying for the CSQ (as a Québec-bound applicant).

Sorry, I was asking the OP if they received that information by email. Some dont realize there is an attachment stating approval/non-approval.

Depends on what country you are from. If you are from a country that doesnt require a visa, like USA then you should be fine. If your country requires a visa to enter canada you will need your pr card first

After the sponsorship approval, the application is transferred to the visa office for processing. This involves the medical, security, criminal, and relationship checks, and this is the longest part of the process.

For visa-exempt applicants, the passport is usually not requested. For those applicants that do require a visa, some offices request the physical passport at the beginning of the process, and some request it at the end of the process. As far as I am aware, there is no announced policy reason why visa offices differ in this.

Sponsorship approval is essentially the first meaningful thing to happen over the course of the application process, and it usually is some time away from the final approval of permanent residency.

My mom's PR application status was changed to decision made last Friday June 26th, 2015. Ecas shows that they will contact my mom regarding the decision. I've been her checking her emails and mails (since she is here in Canada and it's my mailing address) but haven't received anything yet.
Her application was processed in CPP-New Delhi. Should I be contacting CPP-New Delhi.
Will they still her requested for her Passport for the vise even though she is here in Canada?
