Hi Hopeful, thanks for your comment. I understand what you are saying. But our circumstances are probably different to most other people. Yes, we live here at the moment, prior to that my wife and I were in New Zealand for 12 years. Switzerland is nice and safe, but so is Canada. Due to my job in the hotel industry we like a bit of change in our lives, since we have the option to do so. The only reason for doing this is simply because we can. Not the money or any other materialistic thinking involved.
We have been to Canada before, like it very much, love the people and the wide open spaces. Plus I am a V8 car freak, what else could I want?

I see -,,,well good luck in Canada,,,I want to leave my country because of violence , pollution and discrimination ,,,,no V8 involved,,,have been waiting for 5 years 3 months ,,,,, ,,,,,,,but I really hope you enjoy your time there.
