Decision Made same day as processing started?

Okay, I'm a Canadian living in the States, sponsoring my husband (American). CIC website states that they received my application 3/17 and started processing it 4/9. A decision was made 4/9. All medicals, FBI background check and permanent resident application materials accompanied application. I was super anal about all the paperwork. Does this seem like good news? Would I have received my application fee back electronically if it was bad news?(I paid online)

it's likely a decison made on the sponsorship side.. next they'll process the applicant side, which takes longer...

Yes it only takes them a day to check to make sure all signatures are done and that you are able to sponsor.Nobody will knowwhat the news is only you when you get your papers back or cal cic they may tell you the decision.

If you send your application to Mississauga, this is totally normal... you just noe begin the LONG wait !!!
