Hi, I hope someone can help. I checked the status of my experienced class PR application, It said a decision has been made and the office would contact me. The Application was received on May 8th 2012 and the file was reviewed on Dec 6th 2012 and they have made a decision. Has this happened to anyone else? Do you know how long it will take them to contact me? Does anyone know if this is usually a positive thing or a negative? The suspense is killing me. Thanks!

did you get MR? decision before MR is usually a refusal, sorry if that's the case. let us know...

You can google "Decision made before medical request" to see a lot of other experiences. Basically, ECAS is not reliable. In some cases, DM before your medical precedes a rejection notice. However, it could also mean that you cleared the criminality check and your medical request will soon follow. In other cases, there was no explanation as the status changed thereafter.

You can only wait and see what you hear. You can order GCMS notes and see if there are any comments on your file if the line goes silent.

Thank you!I have googled it and have seen mixed results. Hopefully thats the case. I am pulling my hair out. I guess i will just hsve to wait and see. Thanks again!

I got my MR on Dec 21st,. So happy! Everyone that has decision made before medicals on Ecas, keep the faith!
I was so upset at the thought of a refusal after all the work my wife and I had put into the application. All I could find was regative comments online. Moral of my story is don't stress over ecas

I was gonna say they might send you both the MR and PPR at the same time. Phew! Congrats!
