Hello! Just needed some advise. Everyday, I always check the status of our applocation online since it's updated daily now. Yesterday it is still "IN PROCESS" but today it is already "DECISION MADE" (i'm talkin' about sponsorship) but I haven't received any email from CIC about the decision and my husband called me (from the Philippines) saying he received an email from VO in MANILA saying they received his application already. Does it mean that i am approved as a sponsor since they forwarded my husband's pr application in VO? And why they i haven't received any email yet. By the way, I am new here i just registered a while ago. Thank you so much! Hope you can help me..

Congrats, you've been approved as sponsor!!

They don't send the app to the VO until SA. Sometimes ECAS isn't updated very promptly. Several people on this forum received SA today, and received notification like you did.

Also, if your husband received an email from the VO, you've reached AOR2! Wishing you all the best!!

Thank you! Im a bit worried but thanks for making it clear to me.
By the way, follow up question if you dont mind. We are having our church wedding (cause we only had civil marriage) next year and i'm planning to go home for 40 days, if in case my husband's pr application thru spousal sponsorship isn't approved yet, is it okay for me go home for vacation? If so, when I come back do i just need to show my pr card on my arrival? Thank you again..

ofcourse you can go home as long as you have your pr card to show once you come back.

As a PR you are required to remain in Canada during the processing of the application.

That being said, a vacation of 2-3 weeks would likely be fine. 5-6 weeks may be pushing it.
