Hi all. Could anyone help me to understands this Process:
I applied through Quebec in 06/2012
Received my CSQ in 02/2013
Applied for federal in in 04/2013
Medical requested and completed on 06/2013, submitted with PPR, police certificates.
All this time till now when I checked my application status I only had two lines (for 9 month):
1) We received your application on 04/2013
2) Medical received (appeared in 07/2013)
I checked today and here is what I got:
We received your application for permanent residence on April 2, 2013.
We started processing your application on March 14, 2014.
Medical results have been received.
A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.
Do you think this is a positive sign? All knowledgeable input welcome. Thank you.

this is positive since it is after medical. If passport sumitted you will get your passport with in week.

Those who are not getting DM within 1 year period of time after medical , Its because there background check has not been cleared yet. Otherwise they don't much time to give DM after medical.

WE CANNOT DO ANYTHING .JUST WAIT AND BE HOPEFUL THAT EVERYTHINGS GONNA BE ALRIGHT ,NO USE WORRYING ABOUT IT .THEY WILL ACT IN THEIR OWN TIME ...

There is must be specific time frame for visa issuing after re-assessment of medical...do you an any idea..actually we have waiting visa for last one....... what type of BGC is going on???We have invested near about 5 year..it is too much...

I had seen some one talking about ciip letter after DM. Anybody who has idea in this area, please throw some light or pls send any existing thread for this topic?

There is must be specific time frame for visa issuing after re-assessment of medical...do you an any idea..actually we have waiting visa for last one....... what type of BGC is going on???We have invested near about 5 year..it is too much...

we all are sitting in the same boat. Aapka toh 2nd remedical hua hai , mine 3 rd remedical is abt to come in june. my application is stucked coz of BG. its not yet cleared.

Mohinder... you have medical request in 2012 and still doing medicals.. very strange...mine was required in 2013 till date got 2 requests... first was general for both... second one due to spouse gone though operation few years back that's why they call for for certain tests..mine was expire that's why asking for re assessment...but your case can't understand...

my E CAS stuck at 3rd line from 1 jan 2014..... :'(


when will DM start flashing on main page.

Any suggestions pls help.

also I have heard the NDVO has time bound to keep Passports with them (for example 3months or 80 days like that ).If yes.How much is that.

Seniors pls throw light.
