OMG guys please share your thoughts and/or experiences with me.

So I've been waiting for almost two years since I've applied.

Whenever I check my status on CIC website, all I see is the same old ---

We received your application for permanent residence on April 14, 2010.

We started processing your application on June 25, 2010.
---

For 23 months!!! Can you believe that??

But then, I received a letter yesterday. It was about my examination interview coming up in about four weeks later

and asked to bring my partner, my passport, two pictures of me and $490 for RPRF.

I went on the website and now it says "Decision Made" with nothing else.

No mention about medical or AIP or anything.

Is there any case that PR status is granted without AIP?

I mean I did wait for two years now so I would like to think that I deserve to skip a step or two.

But they are known for taking their time as much as possible, so I don't know what to think now.

So what does getting "Decision Made" before or without AIP mean???

Well, the interview it's up even they arrived to a decision, the final decision will come up after your intrview for sure. If they call up for an interview still they have a little doubt about your relationship is genuine.

But no worries, do exactlly as they say and be sincer on everything they ask you there.

Well I didn't get through something similar but I think this is the right thig to do.

Best of luck!!

There is no guarantee, BUT, I dont think they would ask you for your RPRF if you were NOT approved... I am thinking this is a positive sign!!

Wow! I think you won't be needing an aip or even the owp because you will be landing soon. I think after waiting for 2 years u really deserve that. We are on the 16th month now of waiting. They transferred our file to edmonton last oct 2011. I have a strong feeling that if we reach the 2 year mark of the application we will hear news then. So frustrating to waitm

Thanks guys.. Your positive outlooks totally help!

I hope things will go smoothly and put an end to this forever waiting process!

Best luck to all of you as well!
