Decision made before passport request!

Hi all,

I applied under CEC in November 2012. I have gone through my medical recently and CIC has received the result.

Today, I find my application status online has changed to Decision Made. However, I wasn't requested of passport, landing fee etc. I'm worried the result is not good..... :'(

Any comments?

We received your application for permanent residence on November 26, 2012.

We started processing your application on November 4, 2013.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

No worries, you are gonna receive PPR very soon. I saw this trend here. Without MR, if you see DM, then thats scary thing

Hi dont worry,ur ppr is on its way together with the landing fee request,btw whts ur visa office since Pvo is updating status first n sending ppr later.

Decission Made without being asked for biodata and RPRF is a scary thing .

Although I've seen cases were they came later. Just wait and see, all you can do.

Don't worry. Just relax and wait. Ecas is not really that reliable. I also saw Decision made before PPR and RPRF. I got RPRF and PPR request after 16 days of change in ecas status. Its normal these days..

yes, I saw DM status in my ECAS on Oct 28th. PPR and RPRF came on Nov 15th. and its not just me, I saw many people on this forum who had the same story. So, dont worry.. just chill n wait as its very hard to predict hot CIC works...

I got "decision made" before Medical, RPRF , Biodata... , and even GCMS said "eligibility Failed" , But I received RPRF, Biodata and Medical after 3 weeks (from decision made) ! So , I wouldnt rely on ecas at all ! as long as you havent received any rejection letter, you dont need to worry ! 8)

Hi guys,

An update of my case. This morning I finally received the biodata, landing fee and passport request. They all come in one email. It has been 36 days since my ecas changed into decision made. I believe the holiday season may have delayed the processing.

I'm so relieved right now. ;D
