Decision made! Approved now what?

I heard from our lawyer- I have been approved for permenant residency. I don't physically have the papers - packet the govt sent him. He has to send it to me. I'm wondering what's in it? What information?

Also I had my medical exam February 2013, however my lawyer said that I have to April 2014 to land. How can that be I thought medicals were only valid for a year ?

April 2014 is the date your immigration visa is valid till. So you need to start working on getting your airline ticket.
