About my wife visa status 20181218ABCDFGF....,,.Decision Envelope has been couriered from the canada application center.

What meaning for this msg.... visa is ok... or any other reason.. plz explain me... thanks

I have another friend working here in Canada, his work permits valid up to one year, he will try to apply for his wife open work permit.

can you explain what mean by an open work permit?
what documents need.
if after apply for open work permit, she will get the open work permit at Canada immigration, when she will enter Canada.

because visiting visa only can stay for 6 months. but open work permit can stay until her husband work permit finish. please advise me. Thanks
